Although at this moment we can boast of being the only legal kennel for the maintenance, breeding and sale of Bearded Collie dogs in Spain, Montmayor Dream's is not a typical kennel, nor do we have facilities as such in which the dogs live locked up in cages, but they live at home in total freedom, being part of our family. Our priority is to obtain specimens in accordance with the breed standard through selective and responsible breeding, with healthy, balanced parents with good morphology, according to the F.C.I. breeding regulations, thus obtaining puppies with excellent health and a fantastic character. To this end, all of our bearded dogs, apart from being cared for, loved and living as a family, have been selected for reproduction due to their excellent genetic line, good physical health and excellent character. And, all have been tested for diseases that can affect the breed, being 100% free of these defects, and have x-rays with official certificates of being free of elbow and hip dysplasia. We love our dogs and their well-being is fundamental to us, for this reason we are committed to the families of our puppies, being in continuous communication with them and offering guarantees with excellent coverage through a written contract, in case of any problems. health with the puppy, as well as a commitment of responsibility in case the family's situation changes and they cannot take care of the animal, in which circumstance the dog must return to our home.
Care and environment
We take the breeding of our dogs very seriously and the health of the puppies is our priority. For this reason, our dogs periodically undergo complete veterinary check-ups and the mothers of our puppies are closely monitored when they are pregnant, in addition to proper care and feeding for their condition. Once they arrive into this world, the puppies are raised by their mother under our 24-hour supervision and in an aseptic and appropriate environment, they are weaned with natural food prepared by us (vegetables, meat, fish) until they are gradually introduced to dry solid diet (feed), they undergo an early neurological stimulation program, and have varied enrichment experiences (sounds, textures, shapes, movement, balance, social activity, etc.) during their socialization stage. And when they go home, they are used to relieving themselves outside (garden) and in washable pads.
